As you’ve noticed, the IQOS ILUMA series consists of three different devices. Before we explore their differences, let’s focus on their common features, which bring you a reach and clean tobacco experience, no matter which device you choose! The innovative bladeless SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology seamlessly heats the tobacco from within the specially designed tobacco stick, through a metal heating element coated with stainless steel. It unlocks the taste of your chosen tobacco blend, but with less smell than cigarettes, no tobacco residue, and no need to clean the device after use, ever.

So now that we’ve learned about the similarities, let’s check out the details that make each one of the three devices different and special.

1. Holder and pocket charger

IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA PRIME have a holder and a pocket charger. IQOS ILUMA ONE is an all-in-one device.

2. Consecutive uses

IQOS ILUMA and IQOS ILUMA PRIME holders give you 2 consecutive uses, while with IQOS ILUMA ONE you can have 20 consecutive uses.

3. Charging

To fully charge your IQOS ILUMA PRIME or IQOS ILUMA device, you need 2 hours and 15 minutes. For the IQOS ILUMA ONE device, you need 1 hour and 30 minutes.

4. Smart features

IQOS ILUMA PRIME and IQOS ILUMA come with advanced features, which you can enable and adjust through the IQOS app, for a personalized experience. These include Autostart®, lighting adjustments and smart gestures showing you how many uses and experiences you have left. IQOS ILUMA ONE does not come with these smart features.

5. Appearance and colours

IQOS ILUMA PRIME comes in an innovative design that uses anodized aluminum combined with a texture wrap. It is available in 4 colours. IQOS ILUMA comes in an elegant aluminum body, in 5 different colours. IQOS ILUMA ONE is a practical pocket-sized device, also available in 5 colours.

6. Accessories

A wide range of accessories is available for IQOS ILUMA PRIME and IQOS ILUMA devices, giving you the option to protect your device while adding style to it at the same time. These include holder rings, door covers, sleeves and wraps in a variety of textures, colours and finishes. For your IQOS ILUMA ONE device, you can find stylish sleeves for protection, again in an array of different colours and textures.
